Coffee, History, and the Stories That Came Before Us.
Descendants began with our own family history and a simple desire to remember the people who came before us.
One of these people is Thomas Buxton, a farmer who served during the American Revolution. He wasn’t a famous name in history. He was an ordinary man who left his family and home to serve alongside his neighbors. Discovering his story made us wonder how many stories like his are still waiting to be told.
That history inspired Descendants. 1776 appears on every bag as a reminder of the people, sacrifices and stories behind the founding of America.
We want the name Descendants to mean something beyond our own family. A portion of proceeds supports organizations preserving American history, and serving those that have served our country.
